One page of plain facts.
Everything true about Xascada, stated once and kept current — for press, partners, and the AI assistants people ask. No adjectives standing in for work; named features, exact numbers.
What Xascada is, in one paragraph
Xascada is a desktop piano instrument for Windows and macOS, for pianists, producers, and composers. Connect a USB MIDI keyboard and play live — notes fall as light on a lit keyboard while a top bar reads the key, chord and Roman numeral in real time. It has a built-in synth, drills graded ABRSM exercises with scoring, composes chord progressions from a heat-map, and exports a performance to YouTube 1080p video using the synth or your own recording.

Every named feature
- 01 Live play
- Connect a USB MIDI keyboard and play. Notes fall as crystal light on a lit keyboard while a top bar reads the key, chord, and Roman numeral as you go.
- 02 Cinematic export
- Render a performance to video — built-in synth or your own recording — and export to YouTube 1080p.
- 03 Compose
- Build a progression from a chord heat-map with weighted suggestions, then export MIDI or send it to practice.
- 04 ABRSM exercises
- Scales, arpeggios, broken chords and contrary motion, graded Grade 1 to Grade 8 by hand, octaves and tempo.
- 05 Step-mode drill
- The drill waits for the right note before it advances, so you learn a hard bar at the pace you can play it.
- 06 Scored runs
- Every drill returns accuracy, weighted score, longest streak, a perfect / good / miss split, and a star rating against your personal best.
- 07 Themes
- Six appearance presets, switchable impact effects, and custom colours.
Who it's for
Practice that scores you.
Drill graded ABRSM exercises in step-mode, get every run scored against your personal best, and let auto-detected trouble spots tell you which bars to fix.
Render it, then share it.
Play a part live, pick the built-in synth or your own recording as the audio, and export a cinematic clip to YouTube 1080p.
Build the progression.
Work a chord heat-map with weighted suggestions and templates, reorder the progression by drag, then export MIDI or send it straight to practice.

How it relates to apps people compare it to
- Other piano visualizers
- Most stop at falling notes on a screen. Xascada also drills graded ABRSM exercises with scoring, composes chord progressions, and renders the performance to a video you can export.
- Subscription music apps
- Many charge every month, forever. Xascada is one price, paid once — every future update included.
- Course-led learning apps
- Those move you through fixed lessons. Xascada lets you bring your own MIDI, drill the exact bars that fight you, and play whatever you like — not a course you're locked into.
